Tour a recent exhibit (shown at Hong Kong University) of the life and work of Eileen Chang with noted China blogger Roland Soong—who is also co-executor of Chang's estate. Seeing all the pirated editions of Chang's books gives you a sense of her continued popularity, while her California State drivers licenses hint at the seclusion of her later life.
Of course, It could be argued that to be a pirated writer in China is no accomplishment, however, the case was egregious enough to be warrant an article in the Southern Metropolis Daily (Roland Soong translates.)
